Ridgebury Farm to Host 4th Annual Farm Fête on September 20th

A Magical Evening on the Farm including Live Music, Dancing, and Community Impact

Ridgefield, CT — Ridgebury Farm is excited to announce its 4th Annual Ridgebury Farm Fête, taking place on Saturday, September 20, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on the farm’s picturesque grounds at 484 Ridgebury Road.

The Fête raises essential funds for Ridgebury Farm, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, offering hippotherapy, wellness horsemanship lessons, and therapeutic nature programs for individuals of all ages and abilities. This year's proceeds will go towards supporting the GROW Program, which offers therapy at the farm at no cost to those in need.

This unforgettable evening will be hosted by beloved comedian and emcee Christine O’Leary, known for her quick wit, over the top humor, and boundless love for the Ridgefield Community. Guests will enjoy live performances from Band Central, dinner by the bite curated by Chef Paulie G, signature cocktails, and a spirited live auction in support of Ridgebury Farm’s nature-based and equine-assisted programs.

This year, Ridgebury Farm is thrilled to recognize Nicole Capone as the Volunteer of the Year and Stephen Wooters as the 2025 Fête Honoree, in celebration of their outstanding contributions to the mission of the farm.

The 2025 Volunteer of the Year Award will be presented to Nicole Capone, a skilled equestrian, accomplished violinist, and Ridgefield High Honor Roll Student with a heart for serving and commitment to caring for animals and those around her. She has been a member of the Ridgebury volunteer team since its inception in 2021 and is one of the organization’s longest-standing volunteers. Over the past year alone, she has contributed more than 500 volunteer hours, supporting a range of essential farm operations and being an integral part of the therapy program through care for the horses and helping in sessions.

Stephen Wooters, the 2025 Ridgebury Farm Honoree has been a mentor to many and a servant to the community in a variety of roles. He is recognized for his visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to strengthening Ridgebury Farm as a resource for the Ridgefield community. Stephen has played an instrumental role in fostering meaningful partnerships between the farm and local institutions- including Fairfield County Bank and a number of peer nonprofits. A distinguished civic leader and recipient of the Nancy Comstock Andrews Award, he has served on the boards of several prominent organizations, including The Meeting House, Lounsbury House, Keeler Tavern Museum, and Woodcock Nature Center, among others.
