Ridgebury Farm & Stables is always looking for staff and volunteers who are passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team. Please use the links above to view specific open positions. For volunteer positions, you may submit a general application and we will reach out to you to gather more information.

Those interested in working in our Hippotherapy program at Ridgebury Farm and Stables must be currently licensed in the State of Connecticut as an Occupational Therapist, a Physical Therapist, or a Speech and Language Pathologist. If you are interested in working in our Hippotherapy program, please fill out both the employment application (common to all staff) and the therapist application below. Once we receive your information, we will review your application and reach out to you to discuss it. Applicants do not need to have already completed the American Hippotherapy Association certification to apply.

Areas that our volunteers often work in include:
Horsemanship: taking care of horses including turnout, grooming, feeding, and general care.
Pre and Post-Session Preparation: including tacking up the horse, leading them to the session area, taking the horseback to the stall after the session.
Side-Walking: helping our trainers and therapists conduct sessions for equine-assisted therapy and Hippo-therapy sessions.
