​​Wellness Horsemanship

Ridgebury Farm offers introductory to advanced lessons.  These lessons are taught by one of our seasoned instructors and offer a full range of horsemanship and riding instruction.

Riders will learn: 

• How to tack the horse (put on the bridle, halter, adjust the stirrups, etc.)

• Safe conduct around a horse

• Proper ways to groom a horse including washing and brushing

​

Riders will be able to experience riding in our full-sized outdoor riding ring as well as the indoor ring in case of bad weather. 

​

We are a low-pressure, laid-back environment that focuses on the individual needs and goals of the rider to help them develop a connection with the horse.  

​

Lessons are taught individually and range from $90 to $175 per session, depending on rider level.

Group lessons upon request.
